pentarou, that's so amazingly appropriate. Sounds exactly how I've spent the past several months.

I've never played RO, but it sounds to me like it's time to stop asking "Why am I playing this game," and actually stop playing this game. Gack.

Of course maybe I'm just the strange one 'cause I never do understand it when people become addicted to games that frustrate them to distraction.

I use to play RO back when it was still a FREE Beta. Sigh...all that experience gone down the drain. Probably might attempt to register the next time its up.

One day, it probably might. I keep hearing about all these server problems and rollbacks. Gravity better fix up their problems before something somewhat bad happens.

"First off we wish to express our gratitute to you for all your support during closed beta period. iRO 2nd Closed beta will be brought to an end at 15:00 March 28(PST), and we will temporarily suspend our business to prepare better service to all of our precious global fans. We would like to have sufficient time to re-construct official webpage, to add more game servers and to update game details. Exact time of service re-openning has not been arranged yet, we will announce the time in April, the next month. Meanwhile we will keep all terster datas of 2nd closed beta for the next service. Please visit our official website from time to time for your information.
And GM team won't response on the inquiry asking about the next service in any case. At the same time of closed beta ending, email customer support will be stopped until further notice.
Thank you for your cooperation. "

I'm guessing that they're gonna put up Loki and Iris servers. Hope they fix a LOT of bugs and serv problems before releasing. Hope it isn't another 2-3 month waiting.

Ah I really hope they put in new servers, but by the look of things, it's only going to be one server. Since iRO only gets as much money as how many people play, I don't think RO will put in new servers yet. I guess the average number of players that play each day are around 4,000 players. Now if I recall, during Alpha testing around 7,000 were on each server which is *almost* playable. So if RO has a way of advertising, finding more customers, or doing something really cool, I realy don't think they'll add new servers at the moment. But I want them to >=|

Don't worry! There will always be Korean schoolkids in netcafes beating up younger children for lunch money so that they can feed their addiction. RO won't be going away anytime soon! Besides, they rely on the international community to find and exploit bugs. :D

*Gasco-san nods...

well... i suppose if RO dies off... something else will erupt right after... the gamers do need something to waste hours of their life on, each day....

You could harass priestesses for love and/or healing. Seems to be what everyone else spends their time doing

If they added actual quests you need to form large parties and coordinate to tackle, then it would be interesting. Who knows, maybe they planned to do that from the start, but they just want to get the technical aspects of the game down first.

Gathering party members to go on quests like that would be so much fun! And it'd be a lot better than just wandering around and whacking monsters all day.... :)

At least whacking off monsters is better than other things.
